Better territory.
Better appointments.
A clearer next move.

Understand where your team’s time goes, where qualified appointments fall through, and what to improve next. A focused Performance & Territory Audit turns your records into three practical priorities.

The questions behind better performance.01 / TERRITORY
Are we spending time in the right areas?
Compare coverage and outcomes against the people, days, and hours actually assigned—not just a ZIP-code total.
02 / APPOINTMENTS
How do we set more qualified appointments?
Separate appointments created from appointments held. Agree on what “qualified” means, then find where the handoff breaks down.
03 / TEAM PERFORMANCE
What does my team need to improve?
Look at output alongside time worked, assignment, and data gaps before deciding whether the next move is coaching, routing, or follow-up.

A focused audit. A practical plan.

SERVICES
Performance & Territory Audit
A focused review for door-to-door owners and team leaders who need a clear next move.
What we review
Activity and time worked, appointments created, appointment outcomes, and daily territory assignments. We agree on the question, scope, price, and timing before work begins.
How the work happens
First, check dates, duplicates, missing shifts, and definitions. Then compare like-for-like periods and assignments. Keep zero-production shifts in the picture; treat missing records as unknown. Separate patterns worth testing from claims the records cannot support.
What you receive
A concise findings report with the definitions and limits behind each conclusion. A view of performance and territory where the records support it. Three prioritized actions, a measure to track for each, and a walkthrough to turn the findings into a working plan.

From numbers to a next move.
This fictional example shows the kind of reasoning an audit can make visible. It is not a client result, benchmark, or forecast.
A territory comparison worth questioning
North: 12 appointments across 8 worked shifts = 1.5 per shift.
South: 9 appointments across 3 worked shifts = 3.0 per shift.
North has more total appointments. South has more appointments per worked shift. Neither figure proves that South is the better territory: shift length, assignment, revisit history, and appointment quality still need checking. The next move
Compare matched shift lengths and held, qualified outcomes before changing coverage. Run a small routing test, record the daily assignments, and review the same measures afterward.
A useful report names the uncertainty—and tells you what to check next.

01 / Weekly field scorecard
Keep one source row per person, date, and territory assignment. Then summarize the same week below.
Week / team: _____
Question to answer: _____
Worked shifts / field hours: _____
Appointments created this week: _____
Appointments scheduled to occur this week: _____
Of those scheduled: held _____ / canceled _____ / no-show _____ / pending or unknown _____
Held appointments meeting our agreed qualification criteria: _____
Missing shifts or assignments: _____
Use the right denominator.
Appointments per shift = appointments created ÷ worked shifts, including zero-production shifts.
Held rate = held ÷ scheduled appointments for the same period. Report pending and unknown outcomes alongside it.
If a denominator is zero or missing, write “not available.” Missing data is not zero.
Leave with one action.
Observation: _____
One change to test: _____
Owner / review date: _____
Measure to compare: _____
02 / Before you change territory
Check daily assignments, comparable shift lengths, recent visits, and held appointment quality. ZIP-code totals alone do not establish territory potential. Test a small change before a broad reassignment.
03 / Before you rank the team
Include every worked shift, even when output is zero. Flag missing dates. Compare hours and assignments before assuming everyone had the same opportunity.

ABOUT
Better field decisions start with better questions.
The Intentional Door Knocker is built around a simple belief: a useful plan should make sense to the people knocking the doors.
My approach is to start with the decision you need to make, review the records you already have, and explain both the finding and its limits in plain language. You should leave knowing what to try next, why it matters, and how you’ll tell whether it helped.Talk through your question →
